Endocrine System Tincture
$16.00 – $46.00
Tincture for a Healthy Endocrine System (For the gals. Guys reach out for your slightly varied version.)
Oregano – Pineal gland, Pituitary – Oregano can be used to decalcify the pineal gland as well as protect the pineal from bacterial or microbial calcification. Oregano intake can help increase the production of the hormone progesterone. Oregano is one of the main herbs that binds to intracellular receptors for progesterone and increases its release. Red and green algae, spirulina, chlorella, and wheatgrass, are all rich in chlorophyll and help to decalcify the pineal gland due to their powerful detoxifying properties and massive nutritional benefits.
Horny Goat Weed (have in tincture) Hypothalamus – Human Growth Hormone(HGH) is produced by the pituitary gland. Certain neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine produced by the hypothalamus gland, promote the pituitary’s production and release of HGH. An age-related decline in the production of these neurotransmitters may be involved in a similar decline in HGH production.
Monoamine oxidase(or MAO) enzymes are responsible for breaking down neurotransmitters such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin in the brain. Historically, experts have associated low levels of these three neurotransmitters with depression. Inhibitors (also called MAO-inhibitors or MAOI) block the actions of monoamine oxidase enzymes.
Horny goat weed has MAO-inhibiting effects allowing neurotransmitter numbers to rise. Other herbs such as cinnamon and desert ginseng exhibit MAO-inhibiting properties as well.
Beet root – Pituitary – Beets fight inflammation. Inflammation is the root cause of all hormonal imbalance symptoms. For most, the main sources of inflammation are emotional and chemical stress
Beets increase follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and progesterone in the pituitary gland.
Nutrients in beets that also help to activate hormones, help to regulate hormone levels by promoting healthy estrogen metabolism in the body include B-vitamins (particularly Vitamin B6), Vitamin C, and magnesium.
Beets have high levels of nitrates and boron(decalcifier of the pineal), two substances that work in the body to regulate the production of sex hormones.
Ashwagandha – Thyroid, Parathyroid, Adrenal Glands, Testicles – Ashwagandha has been used for more than 2,500 years for its thyroid-modulating, neuroprotective, anti-anxiety, antidepressant, and anti-inflammatory properties. Some of the many uses for ashwagandha include:
Helping decrease inflammation.
Protect against oxidative damage.
Boosts serum concentrations of thyroid hormone.
Help control mediators of stress and relieve anxiety. Adrenal fatigue/normalizes cortisol levels.
Works with the body to decrease the negative impact of physical, psychological, and environmental stressors.
Improvements in sleep quality
Reduces levels of follicle-stimulating hormone and prolactin, high levels of which indicate infertility.
For the Guys
Increases sperm concentration, semen volume and quality, and sperm motility in men with low sperm count.
Increases testicular weight.
Increases the diameter of seminiferous tubules that produce sperm and the number of seminiferous tubular cell layers in the testes.
Reduces oxidative damage to the sperm. (It has been well documented that high levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the semen induce oxidative damage to the sperm and are associated with abnormal sperm parameters, leading to infertility.)
Increases testosterone and luteinizing hormone levels and may have benefits for male fertility.
Chaste Tree – Parathyroid, Ovaries – Funny tidbit – chaste berry (chaste tree) or monk’s pepper, is about the size of a peppercorn. It’s produced by the chaste tree, which acquired its name because its fruit was likely used to decrease men’s libido during the Middle Ages.
Supports the function of the parathyroid gland.
Improve female fertility due to its effect on prolactin levels.
Increases the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) from the pituitary gland, increasing progesterone. LH helps regulate the function of the ovaries.
Lowers prolactin levels, a hormone that also affects the menstrual cycle.
The pituitary gland is also called the “master” gland and it talks to the ovaries, letting them know how much hormone to make. Chaste tree works with pituitary gland function, enhancing its ability to do this work.
Spirulina – Thymus – – Spirulina is a non-toxic blue-green algae. It’s rich in nutrients, and has some general cardiovascular and anti-aging benefits, but for the thymus, can have the effect of reversing atrophy.
Garlic – Pancreas – garlic reduces the amount of sugar in your blood by increasing insulin production by the pancreas. Garlic can:
reduce toxicity in the pancreas.
Help reduce bone loss related to estrogen deficiency.
Increase thyroid hormones.
