*The main bacteria that cause digestive disorders is helicobacter pylori. Studies have shown that honey is proven to control the growth of these bacteria in the stomach.
Turmeric – for the property of curcumin.
Curcumin
Known to help increase nutrient absorption in the intestine.
Promotes intestinal flora.
Improves digestive muscle movements, supports digestion by relaxing the smooth muscles, and gently pushing food through the intestines.
Inhibits the enzymes that compromise stomach health.
Boosts the secretion of stomach mucous, the primary defense against damage from gastric acid.
Helps to increase cholesterol elimination by boosting the production of bile.
Helps to prevent gas and bloating as food is being digested.
Promotion and growth of friendly gut bacteria. *Turmeric stood out for its ability to influence positive change in the gut microbiome community.
Oregano
For type 2 diabetes:
Improves insulin resistance
Regulates the expression of genes that affect fat and carbohydrate metabolism
Restores damaged liver and kidney tissues
For type 1 diabetes:
May improve type 1 diabetes. Researches suggest this could be due to oregano’s antioxidant properties, its effect on the immune system, and its ability to prevent cell death.
Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects.
Can help to eliminate small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.
*Oregano has been used for thousands of years to combat candida and other fungal infections, H. pylori (known to cause ulcers and inflammation in the stomach), bacterial infections, and overgrowths like staphylococcus aureus and SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) as well as parasitic infections
Lemon balm
Stimulates the production of bile in the liver while enhancing the expulsion of bile from the gall bladder.
Works with eliminating candida and its symptoms including exhaustion, brain fog, digestive problems, and a weakened immune system.
Helps to improve cholesterol synthesis in the liver.
Helps to reduce blood sugar levels and oxidative stress related to diabetes and can potentially be used to prevent or help treat type 2 diabetes.
For stress-related digestive issues.
Dandelion

Increases pressure within the stomach and relax the muscular sphincter between the stomach and the small intestine. *Researchers noted that dandelion increased gastric motility by as much as 18 percent more than a drug used for that same purpose.
Decreases inflammation in the pancreas.
The ability to neutralize free radicals in the liver prevents liver enzymes from rising(a sign of stress on the liver) and prevents the depletion of antioxidant compounds in the liver.
Reduces inflammation in the gallbladder and bile duct.
Helps reduce high cholesterol.
Helps with health maintenance for type 1 and 2 diabetics.
Licorice root
Helps improve blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract.
Stimulates the secretion of mucin, a mucous substance that protects the stomach and duodenum lining against stomach acid and other harmful substances.
Protects against harmful pathogens including H pylori, a bacteria causing inflammation that can lead to peptic ulcers(glycyrrhizin in licorice root can help heal peptic ulcer sores.)
Enhances the secretion of serotonin and prostaglandins in the stomach, leading to disinflation, or relieving distention.
